Structured cabling is a Structured Cabling System (SCS) that is required to create an effective information infrastructure in any modern company or organization. It integrates into a single system multiple subsystems for the exchange of information such as: local computer systems, telephone networks, security systems, video surveillance, access control systems, fire systems and more. The creation of a universal cable system greatly simplifies the procedures for monitoring, control and management of all subsystems of the company. The advantages are that a single cable system for data, voice and video is used; standard components and materials are used; flexibility and possibility for easy modifications and additions to all existing networks is provided; several different network protocols can be used simultaneously; cable systems are not affected by changes in technology and systems suppliers allow management and administration by a minimum of maintenance personnel.<\/p>\n

Structured cabling systems provide considerable flexibility and opportunity for easy modifications and additions to all existing systems.
